Today we are interviewing the stunning Charity Grace LeBlanc, a mum, makeup artist and influencer living in Clearwater, Florida.
28 year old Charity lives with her husband and 2 lovely children… a 2 year old little girl and an adventurous 5 year old boy. Her hobbies include fitness (obviously!), dancing, surfing and singing.
On a scale of 1 to 10 how important is it that you workout and why? (10 being very important).
10! First I just all around love it. But more then that it’s my way to do something for myself that benefits not only my body but my mind, my health, and my overall happiness.
Did you work out during your pregnancy? If not why not?
I did for as long as I could but it was always gentle and I never pushed myself hard when I was pregnant.
How much time do you dedicate to exercising each week?
I always try to squeeze at least one a day. Whether it’s a short jog, 20 min yoga flow, and a round of pull-ups I always do something!
What keeps you motivated when you’re tired or the little ones have worn you out?
I just get on Instagram and I look at other moms or fitness inspirations that I follow. When you see someone chasing their dreams and gets me excited about mine!
Do you follow a super clean diet or just eat sensibly?
I definitely believe in balance when it comes to diet! I try to buy and make myself clean and lean meals at home but when I’m out I enjoy a trip to a cafe or ice-cream with my kids.
What does a typical day look like for you?
We wake up and I get my son ready for school, squeeze in an exercise, check emails (etc.), take the kids to an activity, then it’s either some kind of evening class, Instagram work, or time with my husband. But literally every day is different I just go with the flow!
What do you find is your biggest struggle? Food, exercise, time, motivation?
Time management! Like I said planning my day rarely happens so it’s easy for me to get side tracked but it’s also one of the things I like most about my life. But who couldn’t use a little more organization? lol
What is the best part of your day?
Coffee and doing yoga with my kids. When we have these moments together I’m always making sure my camera is recording because it’s some of our favorite times and I want to be able to keep it forever.
Finally, if you could give one piece of advice to new mums or mums-to-be what would it be?
Never lose yourself! If you take care of who you are and what you love along with your children they will see that and learn to do the same for themselves. I always include them in “my activities” as much as I can and them love being a part of my life as much as I love being apart of theirs!
